A foundation, is a civil law alternative to establishing
equity ownership. Foundations can be established for
charitable purposes or for non-charitable purposes. In the case of non-charitable purposes this can be for the benefit of the founder.

The running of a foundation and it activities are
dependent on the foundation council nominated by the
founder. In this way its activities can be very specific and
unique depending on the requirements of the founder.
